Competitive Cornhole

When people think of the game cornhole, they probably picture friends and family
gathered in the backyard, throwing corn filled bags at whatever random feet they decided on playing that day. But what a lot of people don't realize is that cornhole is game
that millions of people play around the world.

About Cornhole

Did you know that cornhole is actually a competitive game?

This game has even been televised and is on ESPN!

Cornhole is said to go back as far as the 1960's. Now today, this game is considered a competitive sport to people. When I first got into cornhole, I honestly did not know how much the little backyard game has changed, to competitors and how much it has evolved over the years.

Did you know that the game is not usually played with corn filled bags. The bags are filled with a special type of resin, that ranges from thicker to smaller beads. There are hundreds of different types of bags out there. These bags have to be a certain amount of weight, and certain width and length. The prices range from fifty dollars to sometimes even as much as one-hundred and fifty dollars. Yes, you read that right. Bags are expensive!

Bags also have different speed ratings, depending on your preference or play style.

Boards are also very expensive. Most boards that are made, good quality boards, are towards three hundred dollars. If you want a good set of boards, that don't bounce your bag over the hole and break easily, they are close to three hundred dollars.
